Natamycin (Not available in the U.S. market)


Pimalac 50S™ is an antimycotic produced by the controlled fermentation of a non-genetically modified strain of Streptomyces natalensis. The food grade powder contains 50% pimaricin (natamycin) and salt. Pimalac 50S is a safe, effective and economic means of protecting food products from deterioration due to the growth of molds, fungi and yeasts, and their metabolic products (mycotoxins, etc.).


Pimalac With Lactose™ is an antimycotic produced by the controlled fermentation of a non-genetically modified strain of Streptomyces natalensis. The food grade powder contains 50% pimaricin (natamycin) and lactose. Pimalac With Lactose provides a safe, effective, and economic means of protecting food products from deterioration due to the growth of molds, fungi and yeasts, and their metabolic products (mycotoxins, etc.).


Nisin


Valisin™ is a bacteriocin that is extremely effective in controlling bacterial spoilage in thermally processed, low pH foods. Nisin, the active ingredient in Valisin, is an antimicrobial polypeptide (bacteriocin) produced by the controlled fermentation of a strain of naturally occurring bacteria in milk (Lactococcus lactis subspecies lactis). The food grade powder is standardized with sodium chloride to an activity of NLT 1,000 IU/mg.
